Aliens were one of my first deck and part of the reason why I got into YGO. I still play them from time to time in a very casual format. I was so hyped when the Abhyss support was announced and overjoyed when we got this unexpected alien support.
Pincer Lord and Buster are really good and synergize very well with the old alien strategies.
Here's my take at Alien Abhyss. The aim is to have Pincer lord and another alien monster on the field (most of the time alien buster) with virus set. You have a trap raigeki coupled with a very good stun.
The deck has a surprisingly good grind. Recombination and Buster both have nice eff in grave and the abhyss package allows you to keep putting board presence in the late game.
I thought that alien would just stay an old forgotten archetype, but with the new support you feel like you actualy play YGO again
