Bujin Tri-Brigade October 2020
Deck Primer
Hello, you poults! Since their announcement and subsequent release on simulators, Tribrigade have managed to capture the imagination of many players as they offer a great deal of support to decks that match their three types (Beast, Beast-Warrior and Winged-Beast.) While many players are finding new way to play Zoodiacs (sigh) I decided to take it upon myself to try and bring back an archetype that has been gathering dust for years; everyone's favorite helmet deck Bujins!
The Strategy
This particular build of Bujin is not exactly Yamato sitting on Kaiser Colloseum, but rather uses Tribrigades to banish Bujingi monsters as well as others to make Link plays and create big boards. With the exception of Ash Blossom and Honest, everything in this deck is a Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged-Beast which gives the Tribrigades plenty of fuel to make plays. If it does go wrong, the Bujingi monsters can stay in the Graveyard and buy you a few turns. The key Rank 4s in this deck include Bujintei Amaterasu and Bujintei Kagutsuchi, the former brings back your banished Level 4s to make more plays whereas the latter mills 5 off the top of your deck allowing you to get started with your Link plays. The deck also runs Droplet to buy us time as well as fueling the Graveyard further as well as Pot of Acquisitiveness for some recursion.
This list is very experimental and I'm not used to playing combo decks so unfortunately I can't make a sample combo list for you. As always, feedback and suggestions are wholly welcome in the comments below!
Stay fresh, YGOPRODECK! :)
