The deck doesn't have all too many turn one plays, if going first try to dump the traps and use Darklords to stun, and attempt an otk next turn.
When going second, you can attempt an to make an otk, or make a stun board. Try and get the pieces for
The First Darklord (Make sure to get Morningstar for the nuke!) and make two other Darklords to otk.
I'm still relatively new to Darklords, but I liked what I've tested so far and it seems to function quite well. Pot of extravagance can be added too if you'd prefer.
