Dinowrestlers are a great deck so long as they can go into combat and enter damage step. In fact, Dinowrestlers only work if they go into combat. It's not like there are ways to return cards to hand, destroy on main phase, banish cards, etc. are there? (Please don't try to build a competitive version of this deck; they don't even work well in formats such as Common Charity).
Your ultimate goal is to link climb into bigger boss monsters or shotgun out dinowrestler Pankrytops. In most cases, Pankrytops hurls himself at opponent’s cards, but in a dinowrestler deck, he can hurl the other dinowrestlers!
In order ensure that you actually go into combat, throw in 3 skill drains and maybe a solemn or two. Skill drain got reprinted so much at the end of 2022 that it's affordable! I wish it weren't because it locks down a lot of decks but here it is.
Dinowrestlers mimic tag team wrestling in name and mechanic; dinowresters buff each other up and tag out to summon bigger creatures (biggest monster is a Link 3; go straight into Borrel Dragons or Accesscode Talker). Half of the dinowrestler are hand trap battle traps that summon themselves and protect your other dinowrestlers. However, Dinowrestler are fragile and are easily overshadowed but better climbing decks such as Borrels and Salamangreats and the mini boss monster, Dinowrestler Panchrytops.
As far as strategy goes, normal summon a monster and try to have a battle trap in hand. Otherwise, try to link summon 1 with parallel exceed in hand and shotgun out a link 3. Scareclaw Tri-Heart x1 is pure BS and xenophobic against anything that’s not a link monster. World Dino wrestling really doesn’t do that much even in a pure build (just use lost world a better combat boost) and really just belongs in the graveyard, so use Extra Foolish Burial. Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Animadorned Archosaur are just extra boss monsters to deal with because Misc is in the deck and a budget card.
This is one of my casual decks that I’ve made as good as possible without overclocking it by using cards such as Forbidden Droplet and hand traps. As a principle of deckbuilding, I mostly build decks that are casual or high power/competitive. I… also really like muscle guys and scalies. I know how much Konami loves to use to *** appeal so more husbandos would be nice, Konami.
