This deck is based on the one that Joey Wheeler used during the first half of the third season of the Duel Monsters (first series) anime.
Note: If you are playing by the anime rules, remove 1 "Flame Manipulator" card, 1 "Masaki, The Legendary Swordsman" card, and 1 "Polymerization" card and move 1 "Flame Swordsman" card from the extra deck to the main deck. The reason for this is that, in the anime, Flame Swordsmen are normal monsters, not fusion monsters.
