Welcome to my Zombie Heroes!
Do you enjoy flooding the board with powerful Extra Deck monsters while controling your opponent's every move? Then let me introduce you to this deck! Our main objective is to limit our opponents' moves as much as possible with cards like Zombie World, Masked HERO Dark Law, Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer and Doomking Balerdroch, while running them over with powerful bosses like Accesscode Talker and Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax. The Zombie and HERO toolboxes will help us get there as fast as possible.
Your first turn priority goals are Zombie World , Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer and Doomking Balerdroch, in this order. A random Mask Change II can add Masked HERO Dark Law to the mix. All Normal Summons of this deck target to facilitate these goals. Be careful with Zombie Master though, although he can target a monster he just discarded to revive, he still needs a valid target in the GY to activate his effect.
- Zombie World is your number 1 priority. It shuts down any extra deck play that requires a specific type of materials, also your Super Polymerization can remove any 2 of your opponent's monsters for Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon and your Doomking Balerdroch can negate any moster effect on the field. Finally, you get the added enjoyment of floodgating and completely shutting down any random Floowandereeze you may encounter. If this ain't worth it, I don't know what is. ^_^
- Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer is your next goal. Not only is DPE a pretty solid turn 2 interruption, you'll also fill your GY with a Destiny HERO - Denier and a Destiny HERO - Malicious, just make sure to discard the Malicious in hand for the fusion, if you happened to draw one, you'll need the second one in deck to perform the Destiny combo that will give you a +3 next turn.
- Doomking Balerdroch is stupid strong with Zombie World. Any effect activation can be negated, and any (other) effect activation is a free banish for you.
If you made it to turn 3, you win.
Toss as many Mezuki you can to the GY as possible. Extra deck cards like Avendread Savior and Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal can facilitate this, although the first one will require your battle phase, but there are also 9 main deck cards that can send cards from deck to grave.
Use Destiny HERO - Malicious effect to banish him and summon another copy from the deck, then use Destiny HERO - Denier effect to summon himself from the GY and return the banished Malicious to deck. Link these two into anything (usually Avendread Savior), or if you have a Uni-Zombie on the field you can manipulate a level 4 into a level 6 and Xyz that with Malicious into Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal. In any case, make sure the Malicious on board ends up in the grave so that you can activate him again to summon back the one you've just returned to the deck. Don't hesitate to even use Beatrice as Link material after her effect, you can still revive her with a Mezuki, since she's a Zombie in this deck :D . You can see that ending up with either an Accesscode Talker or an I:P Masquerena boosted Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax is child's play at this point. Throwing a Zombie Master in between your combo, if you have the hand to discard for his cost, can even lead to an extra Borreload Savage Dragon or Baronne de Fleur on the field.
Some comments about certain card choices:
- 3 Maxx "C", 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring, 2 Called by the Grave and 3 Infinite Impermanence are kind of staples in any deck that wants to call herself competitive these days. It is what it is.
- A wild Mask Change II in your opening hand can change half your monsters into a Masked HERO Dark Law . Turn 1, this dude is solid on his own, but along with Zombie World and DPE he's pretty much autowin. You can also use him for Beatrice material later, but keep in mind that the "Must be Special Summoned by "Mask Change"" part of his text won't let you revive him with a Mezuki , even if he's a Zombie in the GY.
- Triple Burst Dragon is here because I played a game against a Number 59: Crooked Cook deck at some point in my life and I vowed to myself that I will never play a deck without a hard counter for that dude.
- Ra'ten, the Heavenly General is an additional attribute for Accesscode Talker materials. Everything other Link Monster in the deck is dark, an additional removal never hurt anyone.
