i don't get them honestly. they're just dead formats with a stagnant card pool. there is no opportunity for change. they offer nothing unique- other than nostalgia points

they're boring as shit and have nothing interesting to them. At least Thundra Format has a few of my fav decks. This one is just "haha synchros and sub-par gladiator beasts"

What's a modern deck that plays like this and is at least rouge/tier 2, if any? Would like to play something that's not archetype heavily like most decks. Perhaps Dragon link?

dragon link is tier 1 and if you want to play a deck like this, you should play something else

Depends. Most of you probably started playing 2017 or later so you have your favourite decks there, but having started playing 2009-2011 I understand how the old (slower) playing style works and it can be fun.they're boring as shit and have nothing interesting to them. At least Thundra Format has a few of my fav decks. This one is just "haha synchros and sub-par gladiator beasts"

@yugituber & pickzoneamy I thought it was called ETERNAL format because even after the best decks where hit they were still the best decks. @ grimghost bet you didn't know then that the first name for "Dragon Link" was actually "Rokket Guardragon".
