A friend of mine has been saying that a Trickstar effect can kick in while Mystic Mine is on the field. Is that accurate?

do they activate? if not, the burn effects do go through. mystic mine stops activations, not passive effects. lyrilusc assembled nightingale can still direct attack under a mystic mine because the direct attack effect is passive, and mekk knights can be summoned under mine because they are inherent. so if the burns are passive, they go through

The trickstars actually auto activate when something triggers their burn.
They're not passive but more like the reactors, plus they can get negated proving that they activate, so no, they do not go through mystic mine.
