The following is a small excerpt of deck/article. Read Full Article
The idea of “playstyles” in Yugioh is that each individual duelist has a certain affinity for how they play the game. Some duelists like to play aggressively, pump out big monsters, and quickly go for game. Others like to sit back, set lots of backrow, and slowly grind their opponents down. These affinities affect what decks duelists are attracted to and enjoy, how they play out their turns, and generally how they view, experience, and interpret the game. Not all players believe in the existence or validity of playstyles, however.

I want to clear something up, since I recognize now that the phrase "Be Yourself" in the last section can be misleading. To be precise, while I'm never going to say anyone's deck choice is invalid for personal reasons, I am not necessarily advocating to bring your favorite deck to a competitive tournament if you intend to win the event. My point was that you should choose the competitive deck that best suits your playstyle and mindset and thus gives you the best chance of winning the event. However, you should still be choosing a competitive deck if you are intending to win. If you just want to have fun, by all means bring whatever! Unfortunately, modern competitive Yugioh is not in a state conducive to winning with just any deck, no matter how much love you pour into it. It is sad but true.

Whilst I agree partially, sometimes there IS a correct play, so for example on the Salamangreat one, it ends on Topologic Bomber Dragon, Sunlight Wolf, a set Roar, a set Twisters to discard the Spinny in hand and trigger Gazelle on the opposing turn (can trigger Bomber if you want) Sanctuary on field and Jag and Foxy in GY, and the Spinny Dump, I can provide a combo list if you want, I have been playing Salamangreat as my main deck for quite some time now...

In addition, you can change the Rank-4, in this situation Topologic is the best, Xeroboros would be, but any decent Salamangreat player doesn’t run it.However, I will say this, this article is good but SITUATIONAL ( looks at Foxer).
